Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Title: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Developer: Retro Studios
Publisher: Nintendo
Platform: Nintendo Wii
Genre: First Person Action-Adventure

Breakdown
Metroid is a long running series from Nintendo. First appearing on the NES in 1986, a compelling aspect, revealed at the end of the first game, is that the protagonist in the battle armor is, in fact, a woman. Samas Aran wears a battle suit and never speaks, and it is her battle suit which brings out her inner bad-ass.
The battle suit adds a lot of innovation in gameplay. The battle suit can transform into a rolling ball to fit into small places. This action allows for different ways of thinking within the game and breaks from the fps style fighting. The battle suit drops bombs and moves much faster than the standing Samus can. The helmet is the interface of Metroid. The helmet has a battle mode and a scan mode. Scan mode looks at people, enemies, and settings around her and identifies them. These identifications can be viewed later in the log. Battle mode shows the different weapons from her arm gun and ammo.
At its heart, though the fps element is important to the gameplay, Metroid Prime 3 is an adventure game. Samus must find controls and search for clues in between sooting at baddies
What other games is Metroid Prime Hunter 3 like?
